Im very lucky here, just painted my kitchen so didnt have much work at all today.. 15 minutes to dust and clean my lightswitches.. and my curtains have already gone to the thrift store!

 One more day to go!!

Just started my Pricebook

You can find the link at the top right hand corner of my blog. Just click on the picture.  What is a price book?  A price book contains the regular retail price of an item.  Why do you need this information?  To fully understand if it is a sale you need to be able to compair it to the regular price of an item.  Sales cycle, usually in a 6-12 week period which as you will see coinside with coupon distribution.  But every store is priced differently and handles their coupon usage differently.. Here is an example...
Dove Body Wash  Regular Retail at Giant $5.99
Dove Body Wash Regular Retail at Rite Aid $5.66
Coupon available $0.55 (off any)
The better deal on this coupon would be at Giant because they will double your $0.55 coupon to $0.99 making your total $5.00 at Rite Aid your total would be $5.11
(This is assuming you have no store money to spend and are earning no further store money on this product)
My list will take months to build so if you don't see an item it will be there soon!

Pots,Pans, Bake ware, Tupperware, ALL Food preparation tools and Cutting boards

Go through each and every drawer and bin.. Putting donated items in a box.. and you know where to put the trash... Then grab all of your Tools and Load that Dishwasher..

Remember this just is to steam clean, fill it up!

 Go through your Pot and Pan cabinet and match everything.. Then wash what you are keeping. Did you finish all of your appliances ( I had to wash my mixer and food processor today)? Now is the time to finish up! 

The keep pile is getting smaller!

  Do the same for your Tupperware and Bake ware...

 Take note on a pad of paper what you are missing.. you will be able to look for the lids and such at the thrift store when you drop off your donated items, you will be surprised what you can find there! 

Don't get lazy now, NOTHING DIRTY BACK INTO THOSE CABINETS!! 

 While everything is drying you can wipe and line the inside of your cabinets!  Load them up ....

I ran to the thrift store, I had to get that stuff out of my house! (and well shop around of course)  I found some great deals on storage.. A 2 tiered bin for $1.50 and 3 cabinet storage units $9 a rag rack for under the sink and a cling wrap and tin foil cabinet unit! Not bad for $10.50.. If I didn't find all of the other things there to I would have made out better!

Yes those are Clementine boxes, I love them for storage! They hold all of our Ramen Noodles :)

Turn that oven on self clean!!  Then just as we did with the the Refrigerator go through all of your food storage, sorting the trash from donating to keeping.  Wipe all surfaces with warm water, replace shelf liner if needed. Dry and refill.

Go through your dishes. and glassware and silverware... Do you need them all? (Put all dishes you are keeping into the dishwasher, run the load.)  Clean all surfaces. 

 Who had all of those empty boxes of cereal in there???!?!?

Ugly, But CLEAN!!

Only 3 days to go and it will be spotless!!
What is going to be the perfect dinner for sunday? I cant wait to just sit down in there and Relax!

I am Sale and Coupon Driven

This is how I shop now, not by necessity but by coupon + a sale.  Everything you are used to has to go out the door.. The ads show up in your mail box on Wednesday, you begin preparing for what you are going to purchase for the week..  Once you have a collection of coupons you will be able to pick up 10 items for the price of 2, when this deal comes around DO SO. Get all 10 items.  That way you will not have to shop out of necessity.  This will take a few months (literally 2) before you know it.. your whole shopping out look will change.. 

 Lets go over an example Edy's Ice cream this week is on sale at rite aid for $2.99. Regular Price is $5.99.  After the UP reward you are paying $.99c a piece for each one.  You should purchase at least 6.
Do you see there what happened? FOR the price of 1 you can buy 6!  But here is the best part, once you start building your stockpile you will build your store money as well.  Use the store money to purchase further money making items and your out of pocket (oop) expense will most likely be tax.. Which is what I attempt to do!  After I go shopping I will post my trips, with pictures to make it easy for you to understand, feel free to print the coupons and follow right along!  Now Print that comparison, spend 10 minutes in each store grabbing those few items that are in bold before Sunday, when a whole new week starts again! 
Dont forget to pass that stockpile along.. there are many in need...

Unplug your fridge, sweep and vacuum where it was, vacuum coils... Remove all food items from your refrigerator and store in a cooler or separate refrigerator until cleaning is done. (I just put mine out back today on the porch in a clothes basket) Spray with lemon juice water mixture.

Pull out all produce and meat drawers, removable shelves and wire racks. Go fill your bathtub with HOT soapy water crush a tab of dishwasher soap or add powder detergent, allow to soak.

Using a sponge or rag, wash down the inside of the freezer-refrigerator with a solution of 1/2-quart hot water and 2-tablespoons baking soda. Wipe all walls with toothpaste.

With the same sponge or rag, wash the inside of the door and all its compartments.

Using a fresh, clean rag or sponge, rinse the entire refrigerator and all areas you have just cleaned and scrubbed. When you're confident everything has been rinsed properly, dry with paper towels or allow to air dry thoroughly.

Go back to your shelves, drain your tub and clean them. Dry.

Replace drawers, wire racks, and shelves.

Using a clean rag and hot water and dish soap, wash down the rubber molding around the refrigerator door. Rinse and dry thoroughly.

Wash the outside of the refrigerator with hot water and dish soap or an antibacterial cleanser. Rinse and dry thoroughly.

Remove the protective sheet on back of refrigerator, vacuum thouroghly. (MAKE SURE ITS UNPLUGGED!!) Replace.

If your refrigerator has a drip pan, remove it from underneath the refrigerator. Empty and scrub. Rinse and allow to dry before replacing.
