Stockpile Cooking
Did you get these as a filler at walgreens a few weeks ago? My cost FREE!
So easy boil 1 cup water, add mix and 1 cup of cold water.
I put it back in measuring up.
Poured into individual cups.
Store cost estimated $3.00 for a 4pack.
I did pick these up at the dollar tree. So my cost $1.00 :)

Homemade Cake
The last attempt at homemade cake was a mess, who would think you had to use cake flour, and what is it by the way?? Lol .. I found it yesterday at the store. I made the recipe on the box.
It says get the sugar and melted butter fluffy, this took awhile and i was not quite sure what fluffy was, but after a few minutes it did turn fluffy :)
Mix wet and dry.
Bake for 19 minutes, i made 3 small square cakes..
Then i made homemade whipped cream.. My 1 year old was in heaven!
Topped with a store bought strawberry glaze.
We would never eat a 13x9, so this works perfect. 2 for the freezer!

Banana banana bread
We didnt get to the Farmers Market, AJ caught a stomach bug and cant leave the house.. So I used up what we did have on hand.. Like over ripe banana's. I would have tossed these before, but If I can master the bread in the oven maybe my bread machine will become less of an obsticle for me!
Just threw these in my food processor along with the other ingrediants and Look at this beautiful bread!! Im not kidding ~ This never happens.. Somehow my oven makes mostly NON EDIBLE treats! (Not me of course)
The only thing its missing is Blueberries like my Gram's.. Although I am sure mine will never taste like her's this is coming in close!
You can find the Banana Banana Bread Recipe HERE

Cooking from my stockpile ~ Applesauce Cookies
Friday I was able to get a few jars of applesauce at a great price from Rite Aid. So I googled recipes.. I found this awesome cookie recipe HERE. We loved them, including my puppies!
I modified it a little, 1tsp of vanilla and left out the walnuts and rasins so my little man can eat them!
They are light and crunchy.. Perfection!! I left out a dozen for us to eat now..
and in 2 weeks I will have a dozen more from the freezer!
